I'm not sure when I should start stressing out about not having heard back about the job. It's been two days (well, four, but I didn't expect them to call my this weekend.) I guess if I don't hear anything by this Friday I shall dissolve into a pit of depression and mourn the future apartment and apartment warming party I've been dreaming of. I know I said I wouldn't get my hopes up too much, but I lied.

Call for a follow-up. Thank them for having you. Anything. It makes a big difference. Even a thank-you note would be good.

What she said. Call them. It shows you're interested in the job and motivated.

Also *hugs and chocolate* and I owe you Paige/Jono pr0nz.

All for to cheer you up.

Give 'em two weeks before you start worrying. If it's any kind of company, the people in hiring usually don't even see your resume for the first week. Then, give them a polite courtesy call and see.

What exactly entails said polite courtesy call? Because people keep telling me about those but I have no idea what to say that would make me not seem rude and pushy.
