Almost caught up. Need to figure out about Betsy in NY and what to do with that. Also need to round up people to play with Betsy and Paige in Germany.

Going to go spend this weekend with my mother again and then maybe do something with ,

timberwolfblues since we're both off Monday. I'm considering seeing if Mom will let me stay Sat. and Sunday night and then the boy and I could do, like, a movie and the mall Monday and just head home together. And I should probably check with him before making plans as well.

The RP has woes and joys. I'm currently...I don't know. I miss some of the players who've left. Also

teza want to do a Paige/Jay scene wherein they do stuff? Because Paige is feeling estranged from her brother. And Betsy is hungry. *poke* ;)

I'm currently researching the chemical prosperities of a number of naturally occurring gemstones in the hopes of being able to produce some lists for Paige. Namely, what she can and can't turn into thus far along with a list of ones that she's working on.

Diamond, which is composed of carbons bonded using all four of their valence electrons rather than only three (which makes graphite) is actually comparatively easy when you look at moonstone (KAlSi₃O₈). One of the problems I'm having is the number of stones that are made up of SiO₂ but the densities are different.

Grrrr. Suddenly wishing that I had minored in chemistry, after all.

Four posts done today. Two more to do. One more for each of my girls. I might get them done today. Might.

Yesterday, Mom and I went shopping and went to eat and all down in Louisville. It was a lovely day, I spent a lot of money, but it was a long day. Very long.

I had a good time. But I'm still a little tired from it all.

ETA: Five posts done and two left. Two I'm gonna save for tomorrow or tonight.

Is it wrong that the anticipation of RP scenes makes me a little shuddery, like cold water washing through my veins? I hope not because I love it. It's like writing a story and then waiting for people to read it. You're sitting there, hands clamped together, fingers drumming on the table, waiting. Waiting for the first person to make a sound. Only with RP, you're no longer a single, solitary, lone writer. You get to play with other people, watch their style weave into and through yours. You get to find different voices for different characters.

It's exciting. It's wonderful.

But I'm also somewhat dismayed at Sears' website. It is impossible to shop from or even snark because of the way it's laid out. So now I have to go somewhere else. *sigh*

I have this visceral, unyielding need for a cup of coffee right now. I don't know what's causing it. Maybe just that wine I drank last night that has since left me feeling fuzzy today. There's no pain; it's more of a floaty thing. Weird. I want the coffee to bring me back to earth.

The dog apparently has what's called a hot spot, which is caused by a bug bite. I guess it just bothers her so much that she pulled all the hair out. I'm glad that it's caused by something real and not just her being neurotic. The vet gave Dad a cream to put on it. I'm gonna see if she'll let me put some of it on her tonight. I'm not positive if she will, though.

ZOMG! I've never craved coffee like this before. I want it now. Sugary, hit, milky and strong. Kenyan, Columbian, Kono or just a nice roast. None of that flaky flavored coffee, either. Weird.

Also? Four rp posts so far today, but then I didn't get the chance to do any yesterday.

So far this week, I'm averaging three posts a day, which is really good.

Yesterday, I had ~~two~~ one Paige and then two Betsy.

Today, I had three Betsy. One in a thread that had been down for awhile. Yay!

I'm kinda wondering when Paige is gonna get tagged again, though. Oh. Actually. I need to post a tag for Sam-player so we can discuss getting him in there before Saturday game play rolls around.

ETA: I don't understand why bottled water makes my stomach hurt.

ETA 2: OMG. Mile High Comics has been processing my Exiles TPB order for two days. Two days. Just ship it already. It takes long enough for here to get it as it is without you processing it all the time. *I had sugar and there aren't enough people online to entertain me. Be afraid. Be very afraid.*
