Still not done with the third book but I had to take a break to unleash a bit of a tantrum.
It's not that I loved Robb and Catelyn all that much but goddamn. Starks are dropping like flies.
And awful Roose Bolton better not have Arya.
Where's Gendry when he's needed? He's going to rescue Arya. He has to. If she's caught, he'll save her. Somehow. Or maybe Sandor got her out. The Hound's an asshole and a half, but at least he's not as cruel as some.
Jesus.
I also want to see what's become of Theon. Other than people getting ominous letters with bits of his skin. Ugh. Never trust someone whose banner is a flayed man. That's shit's fucked up.
The more I read him, the more I like Jamie. Now if he could only get Cersei and Joff in hand because those two bitches are seriously out there.
More and more I'm thinking that Dany might be the best person to rule.
Stannis has Melisandre, and I do not like her. Joff's a fucking brat, and it would be Tywin ruling through him anyway. Robb's dead. Renly's dead. Theon....is possibly missing his skin. Ugh. Jon would be a good king, but I don't see how that would ever happen.
Oh well. I don't have enough time to keep reading tonight because next chapter is Davos and that man never shuts up. I adore him, though.
Maybe Jacquen will show back up. I'd prefer Gendry rescue Arya, though. It fuels my slightly squicky ship.
