Whole Lot of Nothing
Jan. 14th, 2003 10:27 pmIt's not that I don't have anything to do. In fact I have some reading for Thursday classes that I could be doing. My roommate is asleep though and I really like reading in my room so I'm going to stay here for now and just surf the internet. I figure even if I stay on for two hours straight in here that's still less than I'm on when I'm at UE and there I can juggle much more than I do here.
I have 12 hours now. I dropped my Intro to Psy class because I just didn't want to deal with it. On the more sociable hand though, I joined the Bistro committee. I don't know how well that's going to turn out considering it's almost all guys...theatre guys and me and another girl. Should be interesting though. I'm going to do my best. If it all goes up in flames I can at least say that I tried. One of the things that they want us to work on is a five-year renovation plan for the Bistro. They'd at least like us to formulate some ideas about what we'd like to see done with it and then future classes will benefit from our work.
We're going to London this weekend. Anyone have any suggestions as to any places that we should check out? I'm open to suggestions and I'm sure that neither of us would argue if we got some pointers about where to go or what to avoid.
I'm going to be working for the computer lab for my work study job. Basically, I just have to clean the computers once a week and tidy up the labs and then sit in here for ten hours a week and babysit and answer questions if people have any. Oh yeah, and I'm in charge of the toner and the paper situation on the printers. Nothing big. Nothing fancy. Very much a break from OTS and I'm going to begin bringing Cerri with me and hooking her up to their ethernet while I'm working. I very much doubt that anyone will mind terribly. Thomas brought his up earlier and no one said a word.
I think that's all for now. I can't really think of anything else to say. I think Jen and I are planning to go into Grantham on Thursday. I least I hope that we're going to. We still haven't gone down to the Bistro at all. Maybe we'll save that for another night. I don't know how much time I'm going to spend down there. When the weather warms up a touch it might be fun to go down to the Greg, though.
