North Wales
Feb. 25th, 2003 02:32 pmIt's been a while since I've updated, hasn't it? It's not that I'm dead or anything. It's simply that there isn't always a lot of stuff going on so what's really the point.
So as Jen said we went out Thursday night, which means that I have four hours of work that I need to make up. I guess it was worth it. I don't know. We didn't get to do a whole lot of dancing or anything but it was fun. I really enjoyed the walk there and no, I am not being sarcastic. It's just that compared with the experience in Wales, the Crocodile Rock thing was kinda lame.
Wales was cool, though. I really enjoyed it. Very beautiful place. I think Jen went through everything so if you want details then go read her post. Seriously, I just don't think I can handle typing it all out again. I typed it all out to Chris yesterday and a good deal to my Mom and Becky as well so I'm kinda tired of reliving it all over again. They took us around to a number of places; I took pictures. At one point we went out and went dancing. I taught some Welsh guys to dance. Now one of them is e-mailing and messaging me. He's not a creepy stalker type, though. He just likes to make friends from different places. Whatever. He's 18 and kinda boring, in truth, but I did get him to speak Welsh for me.
The Bistro committee is doing okay. We're so-so. We probably suck compared to other years but I'm on the verge where I no longer care. This weekend is my last weekend of having a school trip (besides mandatory ones) and I'm glad because I want to have the chance to rest a little and just meander around Grantham on a Saturday again. I don't know. I'm just really kind of tired of it all today, you know.
We're having a Mardi Gras party in the Bistro tonight, too early because some idiot thought today was Fat Tuesday. Oh well. It should still be decent, though, right. I think Jen, Rose, and I are going to get pizza tonight because we still haven't ordered out while we've been here. I'm just rambling at this point. I guess I'm going to go and get some work done on the fliers for the St. Patrick's Day Bistro party.
Bye all.
edit: I did buy a number of really cool CDs from the Virgin Megastore in Grantham for only £25 so I'm very happy about that.
