Lose the Battle, Win the War
Aug. 28th, 2003 10:18 amWent to bed at 11pm last night even though I did not get to sleep until midnight and even then it was a fitful sleep where I kept waking up. Startlingly enough, even though I got up at 7am, I am not presently tired. I was supposed to go work out with De and Rachael. Rachael finked out on us so De and I went around 7:15. The Fitness Center does not open until 8am so we did a mile and then had breakfast. Cheese bagels are yummy. I had forgotten.
Just went to the Registrar a few minutes ago. Another battle waged and lost. Talked to Jackie, the redhead, who told me that they have to get some paperwork from McMullan before they can put our section into the computer. She suggested that I go talk to McMullan. I told her that Margaret had been out of town and that I'd mention it to her after my class. Eventually, this is all going to end. Oh shit! I forgot to ask them why my British History class from last fall didn't count as that floating WC credit. Oh well. I'm sure I'll be back in that office eventually.
Have to work for OTS from 11:30 until 12:30. Hopefully, this is only temporary as I'm not a fan of such a short block of work. They need more workers, though, so it could take a while.
In other news, Chris is randomly appearing on campus later tonight. I told him I'd hang with him for a few hours after either my proctor hours (because I'm not sure we're doing those yet) or the various meetings I have tonight. Tomorrow he and Charlie and going to go down to Clarksville for the weekend. As I spent most of my summer with Chris, this is fine. I'll probably see him for a bit when he brings Charlie back up on Sunday as well. I think we still have a visit scheduled for a weekend in September that I'm not working.
