Willard and Blockbuster

So yesterday so a bit of a drag, me sitting around and reading, listening to music until I ran into Heather. We watched Carnivale, which is the freakiest show ever and doesn't make since even if you've seen the other episodes. Then Heather and I decided to go to the video store because what the hell else is there to do when you're stuck on campus on Fall Break Sunday. So we walked there because it's not far and got some movies. The best thing about it, however, was the employees. Adam and David, both blondes, one short the other tall, and both probably in high school or round about that age. Shortly after we get there, they discover that the break room is locked. So David has to crawl through the ceiling. I'm unabashedly watching while Heather pretends to be looking at movies. First David got into the ceiling, then he dropped through onto the floor of the other room and opened the door. I've heard horror stories of people falling through those roofs so I was interested in keeping an eye out. It was also humorous because Adam wouldn't probably hold the ladder, he just put his foot on the bottom rung. Like that would keep David from falling of it. So Heather and I continue to look at the movies, when I turn around and see that Adam and David are fighting at the counter. Somebody was in a headlock, don't remember who. I'm trying not to laugh. Then they start dueling with...feather dusters! At this point, I'm cracking up and Heather has given up trying to be coy about watching them. So the feather duster fight escalates until they're actually in the aisles. Then they're on the ground and they're entwined, not moving, all over each other. We're still laughing and peeking over the top of the aisles in order to watch them. Then they start wrestling on the ground and down goes one of the displays, they throw movie cases at each other, there are AOL discs everywhere. Then David starts hitting Adam with the display. It was hilarious. Then when we got to the counter Heather asked who won and Adam ignored the question. He answered the phone saying his name was Buck and then said is was Adam when he heard that it was David's mom. Weird. We rented Down With Love, Willard, The Ring and Final Destination.

Watched Willard last night and that movie is fucked up. It wasn't even that good. It was just weird and funny. It's about this guy who makes friends with these rats who do his bidding. Except one of them gets jealous because Willard doesn't love him and so tries to destroy him at the end. Then there's a music video, which really was the best part of the whole movie. So fucked up. Not scary at all. It was like a B move but Chrispin Glover was excellent as Willard.
