Jan. 17th, 2005 08:41 amJust bought myself another year of paid LJ time. Why? Because I'm addicted to have 15 icons and this theme. I love this theme.
Spent the day with my mom yesterday. Would rather not talk about most of it. Got the clothes returned to LB. Also spent about two hours taking spyware off her computer and installing a new Nortons. Bought nothing myself, but I made up for that when I got home as I placed my Villainess order and did the LJ thing.
Today probably won't be a good day. Reasons for this include: Getting soap in my eye washing my face and dropping part of my breakfast on the floor. Nothing untoward has happened at work so far, but it will. I just hope the bad luck doesn't expand into the week.
Also, there's no mail today. I wish I wasn't at work.
The good news, though, is that Mom bought me the Barenaked Ladies holiday album. I finally have some holiday music that doesn't make me want to kill people. They mock a lot of the traditional carols but do wonderful versions of the Hanukkah ones along with their own Christmas songs. Kevin even gets to sing. And Jim. With Steve backing the both of them because he has a beautiful voice. Not to say that Kevin and Jim don't, but Steve is better. Ed has a voice intended more for their comic songs. Jim gets little quirky ditties. Steve is their power ballad man. Tyler really only does back-up vocals. And Kevin has this very thin, morose kind of voice. Quite lovely but laking power. I still want his CDs, though.
