Still recovering from this weekend's exploits.

Picked the car up yesterday. New water pump and a belt and a few more parts = $313. Ouch. That stings.

Today I need to track down the insurance company of the guy who hit me and see what's going on with that claim.

Today is also the first full day of my job, and I'm somewhat nervous to see what all it will entail and everything.

Sorry for not posting this weekend or this morning before work. Hopefully tonight after work.

Called about the insurance claim. No dice yet because the adjuster has not yet been able to get ahold of the guy who hit me. And, since it's not my company I'm going through but his, the adjuster cannot speak to me until he talks to the other party. The one who backed that huge U-Haul into my car to begin with.

So it's the sit and wait game.

I also called a couple of local body shops to see what they charged for estimates. Right now it appears to be nothing. Which is grand. Although the second guy told me I should wait for the insurance agency to send their own people out before bothering with any estimates. Well, that may or may not be an option. I think I'll sort of take his advice. I'll wait to go to him until after they've been but maybe take the car to a couple of other places for estimates tomorrow.

Need to leave for work in about forty minutes because I need to get some gas before heading over there. Since I haven't driven the roads around this time yet, I want to give myself time to spare in case I need it.

First actual day of job. Sat with people to listen more and one of the techs let me "drive" meaning that I did the keyboard stuff while she talked to the customers.

I was hoping to post some tonight, but I am pretty dead tired and starving. Let me eat and then we shall see whether I can be productive or if I have to wait until tomorrow.
