Dec. 28th, 2006 01:15 amI am occasionally a tad too OCD for my liking. Take, for instance, the simple task of buying myself some CDs with the cash I got for Christmas. I price them on Amazon. Not too good. Head over to Best Buy to pick up the DVD +Rs I bought (50 for $12.99 is a steal) and check for said CDs there. They either do not have them or want more. Check at Target. Who can boast perhaps one of the titles I want.
Then I come home and proceed to check out Deep Discount CD who has better prices than Amazon but doesn't have one of the main CDs I want. Go to work. Come home. Check out Best Buy's website and Circuit City's, writing down the prices at each site and who has what. So far Circuit City is winning. Head over to Aware Store to find that not only do they have five of the six I want, but they also have the best prices currently as everything I want is on sale. Add to it the free shipping and I jumped.
It's just that buying five CDs should not take that long.
The list:
Teitur--Under the Stars
David Mead--Tangerine
Sister Hazel--Lift
Sister Hazel--Absolutely
Badly Drawn Boy--Born in the U.K.
Final price: $63.95
