(no subject)

There are many, many things that I will allow and say not a word because, in truth, I occasionally think people get up in arms about petty things. I also admit that I have not been following things too well the past few weeks because of things going on in my personal life that have needed more tending to, but what I have been able to glean through a few posts on my flist and checking out some more links does disturb me.

Seeing as how I'm posting before work starts, I don't have the proper time to recopy and post the entire statement here. I'm going to paraphrase and then provide you all with some links if you wish to check this out more on your own.

March 21, this Friday, is a content strike against LJ. No posting. No commenting. Let's kick it up a notch, too. No reading. For 24 hours stay completely away from LJ. I know this is hard, but if it is something you believe in, if you are unhappy with any of the recent changes be they censorship of topics or interests or the decimation of the free basic accounts, stand up and participate. It cannot be that hard. If you feel completely bereft of entertainment, you are free to email, IM, call or otherwise pester me.
