As much as it pains me, I think I have to cancel Christmas this year. Even making $2.50 more an hour, I am bleeding money and funds out seems to be exceeding funds in, which means that to make ends meet, I probably need to get a part time job.

Oy.

*hugs* You could make the gifts? Or have a fundraiser thingy and use that money? Moving is always a finacial strain, that with everything else... The Holidays are about love, not material possessions. *hugs again*

*hugs back*

Yeah, I know. I just always really like spending time finding the perfect present for people and wrapping it and then mailing it and knowing they're going to love it. I might try and see what I can make, but my big thing is dreamcatchers and just everyone I know has one by now.

Thanks, though.

Just a thought...but how hard to make/elaborate are your dreamcatchers? Anything you could put up on eBay for some extra holiday cash?

I have considered that in the past. I'm just not sure if anyone would actually pay me money for them.

Here's (http://pics.livejournal.com/magikfanfic/gallery/00001ywr) a link to them. I'll leave it up to you guys to judge if you think they're marketable.

Look like the ones you pay through the nose for in tourist places, I'd say it's worth a shot putting a moderately elaborate one up and seeing if it goes for enough to make it worthwhile. Possibly offer to do custom ones?

*nods* Yeah, I don't mind custom ones. I've done them before. The only problem with customs is that sometimes the person wants something I don't have that can require outside purchases. But I might dig out the supplies and start making a few to try and sell.

I've tried my hand at jewelry, too, but I kinda suck at it.

Thanks.

Unfortunately, jewelry doesn't go well on eBay. But yes, I think those dreamcatchers are definitely something you should try!

*hugs* You poor thing. Moving sucks in more ways then one. It really does. I agree with Diane. What about possibly selling your dreamcatchers?

Money is for rich people man. Poverty is the way to go!
