I promised [livejournal.com profile] tsylyst a link with some information about the apartment complex that [livejournal.com profile] timberwolfblues and I are moving into at the beginning of October. Plaza Apartments in New Albany, Indiana. We're going to be renting one of the model 2A two bedroom apartments for $575 a month.

Not that I don't trust you guys to be able to click on links yourself, but [livejournal.com profile] tsylyst might yell at me if I don't make site navigation as easy as possible. (&hearts [livejournal.com profile] tsylyst)

Here's more information about that apartment.

This will let you click through pictures of a furnished apartment in the style that we're going to be renting. The dining and the living rooms are technically just one big room so I don't know why they broke them up into two categories. The master bedroom has a walk-in closet that goes into the bathroom, which is much bigger than depicted. The whole place is 1000 square feet, which is the size of the main floor of my house. (That information will really only be useful to [livejournal.com profile] kcauac, [livejournal.com profile] chickwithmonkey and [livejournal.com profile] norachan as the rest of you have not been inside my house.) The kitchen is bigger than it looks as well, though they've done the show one a disservice by putting a table in it, something I would not do because it makes it look smaller and, really, when the dining room area is just a step out of the kitchen it doesn't make much sense.

That's a link to some pictures of the complex itself. It's nice and quiet and very close to things despite the fact that it's situated far enough back to be sort of remote and difficult to find. I've been in and around New Albany for a good part of my life, and Monday was the first time I had ever even seen this apartment complex.

There's a Kroger within walking distance. I can get to malls and shops and restaurants in Clarksville or New Albany in about ten minutes. I can get to Louisville in about fifteen. I am centrally located, and it's a good neighborhood. Here's a map of the area for you guys. The star is the apartment complex and the rest of the cities are pretty well labeled.
