Hits Keep Coming
Jul. 31st, 2007 01:30 pmToday I got a letter from the hospital I went to when I had that earache of doom way back in the winter of 2006. It was $300 and talking about how overdue the fucking payment was.
Nevermind the fact that this is the first bill I've gotten from them. And the night I was there, when they basically did nothing for me, I left around 3am and was prepared to pay what I thought was my $75 co-pay to the lady at the desk to find that there was no one there. At 3am with my ear and jaw and head hurting me so bad that I'm surprised I was able to drive myself there, I was not in the mood to stay and wait.
And they've sent nothing until now.
Neither did the insurance company that I had at the time.
I probably should have called them, but I was so unimpressed with them doing nothing to help me and then telling me to come back Sunday only to blow me off again that I didn't feel like dealing with it. And now the fuckers want to charge me $300.
For ear drops, at least an hour wait and letting me go still in as much pain as I had been before going.
WTF?
