Here's the deal. I am an audiophile, which I'm sure most of you know. I buy music obsessively. This is especially true with cheap CDs for "undiscovered" artists. So there are a whole slew of CDs (and now MP3 albums) that I download simply because it's on sale. My rule is that if the CD is $10 or less, it's a go. Even if I buy it and hate it, I'm not out much. Plus I know enough people that I can get rid of it fairly easy. I don't even feel the need to recoup the money. I just give it away.
Amazon has daily MP3 album deals. Yesterday I got The Script album for $2.99. Today I got an album by a band called Deas Vail for $1.99. It's an entire album with twelve songs, and I got it for $1.99. That is phenomenal. Anyway. It's excellent. The music is kinda pop/emo rock ala Keane's Under the Iron Sea. It might be little pop for some people, but I adore it. The lead singer has this haunting, ethereal sort of voice that manages to sound upbeat and optimistic.
Anyway the point is that I've uploaded it. If you like, I ask that you maybe consider supporting the band by buying it from Amazon. It's just $1.99 today, and it's well worth it.
