Note to self: That lovely Cabernet with an alcohol content of 13.3%? Tastes funny. Stick to the cheaper, sweeter local red.

Or invest in new taste buds so that you can properly appreciate wine without going, "Is there any way I could add sugar to this?"

Because that's not classy.

Just saying.

I love you. I find myself doing this off and on myself.

Almost all wines makes me think that. The exceptions are the local Oliver Winery ones and Reislings because they are desert wines and therefore sweeter.

Red wine is a learned affection. The more you drink, the more you like.

And cabernet's aren't supposed to be sweet.

Yeah, I figured.

I'm just a sucker for the sweet ones. It's not bad. I just need to adjust.

Congrats on your job. And the swimsuit, btw.

Thanks :)

Oh, and may I recommend pinot noir as a starter red? Look for fruits in the aroma description, and avoid the words "tanin, smokey, charred" and any woods

Oooh, I shall look into the pinot noir. Any brands you can recommend?
